The One School Mural was created with The Arts and Humanities Academy leadership students. The students created the piece in response to a hate crime that happened on campus in 2016. Almost 100 percent of the student population took part in a walk out as a rejection of the hate crime and a march towards racial justice. The mural commemorates student empowerment shown in the solidarity of the walk out. The students that worked on the Mural had the opportunity to work with master artist Jos Sances. Alliance Graphics and The Middle East Childrens Alliance funded the project.
